I recently had the privilege of meeting the Woody that inspired the mode of transportation for the Gekkards in their latest adventure. There are some pretty amazing things to learn about a 60 year old car that has become an icon for the California culture. I was most impressed by the innovation to use wood instead of steel because it was hard to come by at the time of the car's production. It is remarkable to see how well the craftsmanship can hold up when its well-cared for. I also learned the true meaning of a "Rumble" seat.

Thank you so much to Aivar for sharing his beautiful treasure and his expertise with our family and the Gekkards. It was a memorable experience that won't be forgotten.
