Reflected here, one of my favorite moments. One day, when my son was old enough to start walking, I took him to the mailbox. He held my hand the entire way, while I couldn't help gazing at him in wonder. My new book is dedicated to him and I thought this was a perfect illustration to capture that feeling.

My new book, To See the Sea, is coming close to completion. The book should be available no later than September. The project has been a monumental one, but I think the final results will make the Gekkards proud and its reader's laugh. There is a preview page live on the Gekkard's website here.
There will be a special pre-sale offer starting in July for our mailing list customers and our facebook fans.

Well after plenty of legal wrangling, the word "Gekkards" has been approved for a trade mark. If there is no opposition in the near future, the word "Gekkards" will become an official trademark property of Gekkards, Inc.
